The Village of Shorewood coordinates an annual July 4th parade and celebration for the community. For 2018, the parade will begin at 3 PM along Oakland Avenue from Kensington Blvd to Edgewood Ave. Free ice cream and live music is available at the Spector Field Pavilion where the parade ends. More festivities take place at Atwater Park starting at 5:30 PM. Some of the activities include face painting, balloon tying, a dunk tank, live music along with food and beverages for sale, and a fireworks show to cap it all of at 9:30 PM.
